Day Three: We left Calais with great trepidation, in pouring rain, and with the admonishment of two of our hosts along the way, that the road through Meddybemps should be called "manybumps", was very hilly, and we likely would be run off the road by rabid truck drivers. Instead, the weather cleared, the few truck drivers we encountered gave us the thumbs-up, and we had a delightful ride.
